Ayurveda for Nightfall Treatment

What is Nightfall?

Many physical changes take place in a boy when he reaches adolescence. The most noticeable ones are the growth of the sexual organs and also hormonal changes in the body. Because of these, the boy starts to masturbate quite frequently and can be said to be in a fairly aroused state at most times. He also has dreams depicting sex, and due to the intensity of these dreams, involuntary ejaculation may happen. This phenomenon is termed nightfall. Though it is primarily a problem with young boys, nightfall can affect men of any age. However, this condition is an embarrassing one and cannot be discussed with the friend circle or the family. Moreover, modern distractions like the internet and rampant pornography project sex in a perverse way. Nocturnal emission is a normal phenomenon and is a way for the body to relieve itself of excess sperm, more than that which the body can hold. It is the body’s response to over-stimulation and can happen with or without an erection.

Myths surrounding Nightfall

  1. 1.  There may be erection problems due to nightfall
  2. 2.  It is a rare phenomenon
  3. 3.  Regular masturbation and perverted thoughts cause nightfall
  4. 4.  It weakens a person sexually

None of the above statements are true, and they are an indication of the position that sex holds in the Indian society.

Symptoms of Nightfall

Prolonged nightfall may also give rise to secondary problems like hair loss and weakness. The sleep cycle might be disturbed and a person may suffer from lack of sleep or poor quality of sleep.

Ayurvedic Medicine for Nightfall

There are many herbs and treatments for Nightfall in Ayurveda. Here are some of them;

  • Ashwagandha: It contains natural chemicals called withanolides, and it stimulates the release and the function of sex hormones like testosterone and progesterone. Ashwagandha also assists in increasing the amount of blood that flows into the penis and helps to achieve firm and long-lasting, normal erections, which plays an important role in the prevention of nightfall. The roots of this herb are very potent in medicine, and also reduce fatigue and stress in men. It helps to regulate the sleep cycle and maintains a natural hormonal balance. Ashwagandha can be had in capsules, extract form, or even in tea.
  • SafedMusli: SafedMusli enhances the circulation of blood in the genitals, and assist in achieving strong and firm erections. It also decreases fatigue, stress and tension, which are the main causes of nightfall. The herb also maintains the proper level of testosterone, and enhances sexual stamina, preventing frequent nightfall, discharge of semen with the urine, or erection problems. Safed Musli is available for consumption in tablets, syrups, and tonics.
  • Shatavari: It is quite a powerful herb used in Ayurveda to treat Nightfall. Besides maintaining the proper function of sex organs, it stimulates the penis and helps achieve a very hard erection. This makes it a much recommended Ayurvedic solution for Nightfall when it is consumed as a dried powder extract, capsule, or tonic.
  • Epicedium: this is a natural aphrodisiac and very useful in maintaining erections for a considerable amount of time. Additionally, it boosts the immunity of the body and enhances the overall well-being of the body, which is inversely proportional to nightfall incidences. Epicedium is available in tonics, extracts, or capsules.
  • Tribulus Terrestris: This is also a useful Ayurvedic solution for the treatment of Nightfall and premature ejaculation. This herb is suitable for women as well. Tribulus Terrestris assists the circulation of blood to the sexual organs and enhances the overall health of these organs. The balance of hormones is achieved and this prevents Nightfall. The herb is also known for helping with stiff erections which linger for considerable amounts of time, helping with a complete orgasm too. It can be consumed in tincture form or capsules or even with tea.
  • Peppermint oil: This is a very useful remedy for the prevention of premature ejaculation and also Nightfall. Being aromatic in nature, it decreases the sensitivity of the penis, which consequently reduces the urge to ejaculate early. It assists in the relaxation of the tense muscles of the penis after ejaculation. The oil can be massaged onto the penis so that nightfall is prevented and sexual performance is enhanced.
  • Shilajit: This may well be the most important and popular Ayurvedic herb available for sexual problems in men, including Nightfall. It increases the circulation of blood flow in the penis and also makes it stronger, sustaining an erection for longer periods of time for satisfactory ejaculation. Shilajit also boosts natural immunity and reduces stress and tension, anxiety, and pressure. Shilajit is quite popular and available in capsules, tablets, dried powder, and other forms.

So there you have it, a list of the most effective Ayurvedic treatments for treating the condition of Nightfall. Along with intake of the chosen herb, it is important to realize that changes are not instant. Give them a sufficient window of time to have an effect on the body.
