Panchakarma; The Ayurvedic Healing

Panchakarma is an integral part of Ayurveda and is considered a healing art that completely detoxifies and rejuvenates, and restores the body/mind/soul to balance. Although some centers will do panchakarma treatments in as little as three days, other clinics won't even accept you for anything less than two weeks, preferably three. It's a process and one which requires time and commitment.

Methods of Panchakarma

There are 2 types of pre-purification methods performed before Panchakarma - Snehana (which is also known as oil massage) and Swedana (also known as sweating). Both these methods are used for loosening toxins in the body before the detox process begins.
